Koray continues its renewable-energy investments both domestically and internationally. The Group’s international projects are carried out under Koray Energy, delivering investments that meet global standards in solar, wind and battery-storage fields.

Domestic operations are conducted through affiliates such as Hun Enerji, listed on Borsa Istanbul; Sunsis, specialised in power-plant operations; and Storemate, focused on storage technologies. Leveraging its EPC capability, the Group has completed the installation of more than 100 MW of solar PV.

In Turkey it holds a substantial generation portfolio with 66.62 MWp of solar PV, 73 MW of hydro and 10.5 MW of biomass capacity. High efficiency is achieved through advanced technologies such as solar-tracking systems.

Drawing on its accumulated know-how and engineering strength, Koray continues to create value across the entire renewable-energy spectrum.

With its 70 years of deep-rooted history in real estate, Koray has been operating as an independent electricity producer for more than the past decade and leads a team with deep expertise in renewable energy investments across five different countries. This team has successfully developed, financed (through project financing models, two public offerings, and a green fund), constructed, commissioned, and operated hundreds of megawatts of solar energy capacity. Based on this accumulated experience, Koray Energy aims to expand its presence in Europe, focusing particularly on Greece, Italy, Romania, and the Balkans, with plans to establish 500 MW of solar power plants and 500 MW of battery storage facilities by 2030. In order to increase the efficiency of its European operations and strengthen its regional presence, the company aims to centralize its subsidiaries in Luxembourg.

The company’s main activity is the establishment, construction, commissioning, leasing, production of electricity, and the trading of energy, as well as the sale of the produced electricity and/or capacity to customers, both domestically and internationally.

It was publicly listed on 21.02.2022. As of 07.05.2024, the public float rate is 47.29%. In the Aegean and Central Anatolia regions, the company has a 66.6 MW solar power plant, a 10.5 MW biomass plant in Manisa Salihli, and two hydroelectric plants in Erzurum with a total installed capacity of 26.1 MW.

With our future endeavors, we will continue to support the ecosystem and locally agriculture-based economies.

Just as the 19th century is called the age of coal and the 20th century the age of oil, it is believed that the 21st century will be called the age of solar energy. Founded with this belief, Sunsis manages the production process by receiving feedback from the equipment in the solar power plants.

It detects any negative factors that might affect the plant's performance in real-time. It intervenes in identified issues and ensures the plant operates at optimal performance by performing periodic maintenance.

Sunsis carries out maintenance and repair activities for a total of 551,404 panels, 45 central inverters, and 2,913 string inverters, both domestically and internationally.
